The Population of Lahore, which is the 2nd largest city of Pakistan is increasing day by day. To overcome the transport burden in the city major portion of Lahore Ring Road from Babu Sabu to Adda Plot Raiwind Road Lahore is already Completed. Which is 85 Km long.
The development work of Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop (SL-III) is about to begin soon. SL-3 Starts from (Adda Plot) Raiwind Road Interchange and ends at Proposed Interchange at (Maraka) Multan Road. On Saturday 13th June 2020 All heavey machinery for the development of SL-3 has been deployed. Steering body has allowed construction of Ring Road Southern Loop-III. The responsibilty of development and operation of SL-3 has been given to NLC.
Salient Features of SL-III
- The total length of Ring Road SL-3 will be around 8 km.
- There are 2 Nos of Interchanges propesed for this Loop.
- 3 Nos of Bridges are proposed.
- Proposed Vehicular/Pedestrian Underpasses are 03 Nos
Southern Loop-3 (SL3) of LRRA will help to improve the traffic management system of Lahore.
